Geneva Motor Show is not there just to showcase latest super-fast and luxury automobiles from automakers, if you thought that’s all there to it, you thought wrong. The British luxury automaker Bentley used the opportunity to introduce their driving inspired Spring 2015 Collection along with new cars. The new additions include luxurious leather jackets for both sexes, a new range of lightweight Cashmere scarfs and Squares in pastel colors and handbags.
As always the Crewe-headquartered company seamlessly integrated design features from Bentley car interiors to their latest fashion collection. The handcrafted leather jackets for men and women are crafted from lamb skin and use fold and stitch leather technique. They also feature stretch areas to allow freedom of movement and comfort while driving.
The men’s jacket in Navy leather with a sporty design evokes the cobra design of Continental GT’s. The jacket is fully reversible and can be changed into a sporting down jacket. It features quilted interior lining and a dual collar. Yours for $5,395.
The ladies jacket is available in colors Red and Dark Sand and feature Bentley design cues with timeless appeal. Its trims with unique polka dot motif are inspired by the legendary Bentley Boy Tim Birkin’s scarves. The jacket also feature twin-stitched quilted interiors. Price $4,780.
The Bentley Cashmere scarves and squares capsule collection comprises of dip-dyed cashmere stoles and damier squares, in pastel shades – the perfect fashion accessory for the spring/summer. The luxurious Cashmeres are sourced from Inner Mongolia, but additional design and development work done in Britain prior to manufacturing. The scarves are priced at $232 and squares at $154.
The handbag collection consists of two designs – the Continental named obviously after the iconic Bentley GT, and the Barnato, named after Diana Barnato, the well-known English aviatrix. She was also a daughter of Woolf Barnato, former Bentley chairman. Not a lot of information released about the handbags. But they are available in an array of vibrant and classic colors to add a splash of fashion to your accessory collection. The Continental handbag will set you back $5,500 and the Barnato $7,000.
