It is almost January and in few short weeks (3 months) it will be Spring. The recently unveiled Chanel Quilted Crush Sunglasses Spring 2017 collection is now in stores to update your accessories collection. The collection is full of colors, designs and retro styles. For fashionistas interested in the nitty-gritty of the collection, the collection is based on two designs – the octagon of the perfume cabochons and the fine jewelry quilting. Other major design change includes the positioning of the temples – they’ve moved the temples from the head onto the cheekbones.
Since its introduction in 1955 with the 2.55 handbag, Chanel’s iconic quilted pattern has appeared on a host of other products of the brand including jewelry. The quilted pattern is now decorating the temples of the sunglass collection. There is also a separate quilted line within the collection named, Quilted Crush. Here the temple metals are offered in four color variations including gold, silver and two hues of gray. The frames of the entire collection are available in cat eye, butterfly, square and oval shapes. And in colors pine, olive, khaki, and burgundy, a transparent blue, black and tortoiseshell.
The lenses presented in a wide range of tinted colors add more style and creativity to the collection. They are available in pink-gold, grey-gradient, polarized-brown, blue-mirror and more. The Pilot Quilting is an interesting pair, instead of the quilted pattern on temples this one has the pattern on lenses. The star of the entire collection is the Cat Eye Quilting sunglasses. This one has a stylish black frame with gold temples and beige-gold tinted lenses.
The complete Chanel Quilted Crush Sunglasses collection has over 50 styles to mix and match from. Even though presented as a separate line, there is no difference in price between Quilted Crush range and the others – they all retail for $535. The collection is now available in Chanel boutiques and online store.
