Today is the last day of Fall 2107 NYFW shows. Coach, the American leather goods and lifestyle label and its British creative director Stuart Vevers unveiled their Fall 2017 Coach 1941 bag collection couple of days ago. As with previous editions of Vevers’ collections for the brand are heavily influenced by American West and Great Plains. The same setting is also the inspiration for the fashion show set with a broken down house frame with tumbleweeds and prairie grass. Most of the designs in the collection feature pieces influenced by traditional doctor bags. Except for the large tote, all others are in cross-body style and offered in medium and small sizes.
The majority of the collection is decorated with flowers, muscle cars, and dinosaurs. Bags made of leather comes in a range of hues – red, blue, black, beige, tan and whiskey. In addition to bags, the Coach 1941 collection also unveiled outerwear, hats, shoes for women and a few pieces of menswear as well.
