The modern version of the ballerina shoe comes in variety of materials, textures and in a color palette.
Variety of materials used include glossy patent leather, laser cut nappa, striped fabric and suede – all fashionable, comfortable and perfect for summer. In addition to Ferragamo’s classic Red and Oxford Blue, collection also feature seasonal tones of Macaron, New Iris and a brilliant touch of New Optic White. As for the design, the uniqueness of the collection lies in the patented Opanca sole, inspired by the Opanke moccasins of Native Americans. The sole and sides of the shoe are made from a single piece of leather, stitched together at the top it makes for a flexible sole that is also comfortable for walking. Further highlighting brand’s excellent craftsmanship, the shoe boasts a slip-lasted design and an adjustable elasticated strap.
The Salavatore Ferragamo Ballerina Shoe Collection also arrives with a social media blitz with the hashtag #unspokenelegance that include both videos and images. Cheery catchphrases such as “Life is a Beautiful Walk”, “Get loud when you laugh”, “Every look has its own Music”, “Always listen to your Happy Thoughts”, “Nobody is ever Too Old to Play” and “Smile to the World and it will do the same to You” are used to promote the collection.
