Blondie and Gisele Bündchen or H&M and Gisele Bündchen, either way it’s an unbeatable combination. H&M has roped in Gisele to belt out Blondie’s “Heart of Glass” for their upcoming summer campaign.
For the fall/winter 2013 campaign Gisele lent her singing talents to the Swedish brand by singing the Kinks tune “All Day and All Night”. That song was on iTunes to raise funds for UNICEF to buy vaccines for children. This time around she is taking over the Heart of Glass singing duties from Miranda Kerr’s spring campaign. Just like the Kinks cover version, this song is expected to go on sale at iTunes, as well as distribute for free at Hm.com.
She worked with French music producer and DJ Bob Sinclar for the Blondie cover while photography was done by Lachlan Bailey. A delighted Gisele said about the experience “I never in a million years thought that I would record a song and to work with a producer like Bob.” The song and video will be available for download in May.
