Gucci Paris Masters 2013 Scarf

For a woman in France, the scarf is the most important and signature accessory in the world. They just can’t live without it nor would they step out without one – especially this time of the year. A fact all fashion maisons in France and Italy aware of and cater to. One of those maisons have a new scarf  for a special occasion. As in previous years, Gucci, the main sponsor of the Gucci Paris Masters 2013 equestrian jumping competition has designed a special edition scarf due to be held in December 5-8 this year.

Frida Giannini, the creative director at Gucci designed an exclusive silk twill scarf, that is hand decorated using a watercolor dye technique. Main decoration on the scarf is green-red-green ribbon pattern, one of Gucci’s preferred signature patterns. Other printed images include equestrian themed stylized horse heads, riding stirrups and bridles. Scarf measures 90 cm by 90 cm.

Priced at €295 (approx. $400,) Gucci plans to sell the limited edition Gucci Paris Masters 2013 scarf during the event at its pop-up shop in the “Village” outside of the event.
