A collection of four special edition Hermès Indigo Silk scarves will arrive at Paris stores of Hermés in February. Giving prominence to natural indigo color, the capsule collection will feature various shades of the color.
Hermés has partnered again with graffiti artist Kongo to create designs for the new collection. Working with natural indigo dying methods used in India and Bangladesh, Lyon-based Hermés artist has created prints for the scarves. Reinterpreted designs include diverse printing and embroidery techniques, with bridles, spurs and colored feathers.
The four scarf collection will be available in cashmere or silk in sizes large and medium. Hermès’ indigo scarves will go on sale February 13 in the Hermès stores at 24 Faubourg Saint-Honoré, Paris 8th and 17 Rue de Sèvres, Paris 6th.The capsule collection will also be available online at Hermés website.
The above scarf, a 90 Bridals of Arashi gala medium silk has a price tag of €600.
