Lady Gaga continues to be the face of Versace’s summer 2014 campaign. So far, she has promoted the brand’s apparel and accessories collection in two separate ad campaigns. Her latest effort is to promote the #StudsLadies eyewear collection. On released photo, shot by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott, Gaga in a sexy black dress gives a pose similar to previous campaigns. However, this time attention shifts to the eyewear she’s wearing.
Versace describes the eyewear collection as free, provocative and rebellious. The #StudsLadies collection features an oversized cat-eye frame made of acetate. There are 71 pale-gold colored studs embellished on the frame with 63 of them encrusted on the front and eight on the temples. The collection is available in four different shapes – pyramids, triangles, spheres, and spirals.
Versace is doing all it can to promote the #StudsLadies collection. One of them is offering a trip for two to Italy to attend Versace’s exclusive fashion show in Milan. To win this opportunity what you need to do is go to a Sunglass Hut store anywhere in the US, put on some Versace Eyewear, take a selfie and post it on your Facebook page using the “Public” mode to star on the Versace #STUDSLADIES wall. The competition run from April 21st to May 19th.
