We have an update to the most eagerly awaited iPhone 7 and 7 Plus case, thanks to the spooks at PurseBlog. They have dug up quite a lot of new information about the case. First of all, now we have its official name – Louis Vuitton Etui iPhone 7 Case (not Louis Vuitton Petite Malle iPhone 7 Case as we have mentioned earlier). As the Purse Blog notes, Louis Vuitton yet to confirm these numbers and details, but they are as accurate as they can get given the reliable sources they got in contact with.
After going over the images one thing is sure, there is an Etui Case for every fashionista’s taste. They will be offered in many of Louis Vuitton’s famous printed canvases as well as in exotic materials such as crocodile – in a variety of colors. The Etui Case is practically a mini-me of the Mini Petite Malle. It features the same silver/golden brass hardware and has the same square shape as the bag. However, there is one feature you won’t find in the bag, the clochette. As you can see from the images, it is perfect to store the Apple’s cool new wireless earbuds.
As expected, these prices going to cost you an arm and a leg. In the US, iPhone 7 case in canvas will cost you $1,155 and the iPhone Plus $1,230. Apparently, there is no word on US prices for the exotic versions, yet. For Europe and Asia, prices are set at €800 ($870) and €859 ($930) for the canvas versions of iPhone 7 and Plus respectively. The prices of the crocodile cases are through the roof at €3,500 ($3,800) and €3,800 ($4,100).
Officially, the release date is still set for spring or around January, however, people who know people think Etui iPhone 7 Case will be ready for the holidays. My advice for stocking stuffers – be ready for a late November release. Regardless of the price, demand for the case will be high and Louis Vuitton knows it too. Before, during and after the Spring 2017 fashion show it was the talk of the town and social media. And, we too have received a healthy dose of traffic for the story a couple of weeks ago.
