Dolce & Gabbana has borrowed pastel colors from macaroons, marshmallows and ice creams to put together the limited edition Mini Mix Sicily handbag collection. As reported by Vogue Paris, the Italian design duo is following today’s trend of creating miniatures of their famous bags. Fendi has done that with the Baguette bag, while Louis Vuitton has an original creation in their arsenal – the Petite Malle. The iconic Sicily bag introduced back in Spring/Summer 2008-2009 draws its inspiration from timeless elegance of Italian women. It is already available in large and medium in addition to the mini.
Just like its large and medium sisters, the Mini Mix Sicily is a versatile bag that can be used as a formal or casual bag. The stylish bag also boasts light gold hardware, satin inner lining and plenty of pockets. Other features include an adjustable and removable shoulder strap and the two-tone metal designer plaque at front.
In a mix of colorful calfskin leathers, the limited Mini Mix Sicily comes in eye-catching pink marshmallow, sky blue, lime green and lemon yellow colors. Fashionistas can show their appreciation for the bag by snatching one – costs just $1,445, affordable luxury.
