Guerlain is offering their luxury fragrance Shalimar for the festive season with a big new take on its bottle. Confined inside the Maison Waltersperg made deep midnight blue glass flacon is 1.5 liters of limited edition Guerlain Shalimar Indian Nights by Maison Gripoix. This is Guerlain’s first ever offering of Shalimar in such large proportions.
Glassmaker Waltersperg’s design inspiration came from the classic Shalimar bottle. Limited to just 40 pieces, this special edition bottle feature decorations by Parisian jewelry house Maison Gripox. The flacon boasts exquisite gold decorations including a special necklace for the neck of the bottle. It consists of four strings, two made of 24 karat gold pearls and the other two from deep blue glass pearls.
Described as sensual, the Guerlain Shalimar Indian Nights by Maison Gripoix fragrance is a fine composition of bergamot, iris, jasmine, rose, tonka, vanilla and opoponax. The luxurious and elegant special edition is available at Guerlain website for the princely sum of $11,800 each.
