“V” may remind you of a certain movie (to me at least) than a perfume, but that’s what it actually is, a perfume. Perfumes “V” are the second release from The Private Collection of British luxury perfume house, The Crown Perfumery.
The Crown Perfumery is a unique perfumery with a great history. Queen Victoria in 1878 honored the company by awarding her crown’s image to top the perfume bottles, as a tribute to their excellent service to the British perfume industry. In 1999 Clive Christian took over the control of the company and started its revival. Using only the best ingredients and complex formulas, Clive created the Original Collection of 3 perfumes – 1872, X and No.1. At $12,700 per ounce, No.1 entered the Guinness Book of World Records as the world’s most expensive perfume in 2006.
“V” for Women – contains main ingredient orange blossom and other floral fragrances of chamomile, lavender, rose and jasmine – fine ingredients giving the spirit of a romantic perfume. While men’s version of “V”, made using frankincense, plant trimmings and black and white pepper – an aromatic snapshot of a man full of energy. The perfume is named “V” after Clive Christian’s eldest daughter Victoria. Both versions are priced at $405 for 50 ml perfume spray.
