Not just diamonds, all precious stones are a girl’s best friend and Van Cleef & Arpels knows this very well. The French jeweler has added six new rings named Perlée Couleurs in beautiful colors to their iconic Perlée collection. Launched in 2008, the Perlée collection consists of pendants, bracelets, earrings and rings. In French Perlée means “pearls edge” and all items of the collection feature noticeable beaded borders. Introduced in 1920’s, the golden beading is used to add softness to their creation. Well-known collections created with this technique include the Moroccan-inspired Couscous collection in 1948 and the Twist and Alhambra collections in the 1960’s.
The Perlée Couleurs collection includes six handcrafted rings, with one in pink gold with carnelian and another in white gold with turquoise. Three of the rings made with yellow gold boasts exquisite stones – Tiger’s Eye, Cabochon Malachite and Onyx, while the sixth ring is made entirely from yellow stone. Each and every stone in the collection are carefully handpicked to ensure they are of highest quality as well as even in color.
These rings can be worn individually, as a stack or in conjunction with other jewelry. Pricing of the Perlée Couleurs collection starts at $2,200 and available online at Van Cleef & Arpels website.
