Versace Bright Crystal perfume is getting an update. Released seven years ago, the perfume has been a favorite among Versace customers and a best seller for the fashion house. The new version Versace Bright Crystal Absolu is a more intense version of the Versace Bright Crystal. Fashion house noted update is the result of customer feedback.
The Versace Crystal Absolu is created by perfumer Alberto Morillas of perfume house Eurolita, who was also the nose behind the Versace Bright Crystal. Perfume comes with top notes of Yuzu and pomegranate, middle notes of raspberry, lotus flower, peony and magnolia, and base notes of Acajou wood, vegetal amber and musk. Giving the Crystal Absolu a more intense and longer lasting fragrance.
Introducing the perfume Donatella Versace noted “It’s the scents themselves, which are evocative, vibrant and full of a love of life.”
The Versace Crystal Absolu packaging is similar to the Versace Bright Crystal that includes the same fuchsia colored glass bottle and the elegant cap. The ad campaign for the new fragrance was shot by photographer Mario Testino featuring South African model Candice Swanepoel. Perfume is currently only available in Italy, Versace plans to release it in the US and worldwide in time for the Valentine’s Day 2014. Available in two versions of 50ml and 90ml, they come priced at $84 and $110 respectively.
