With Chelsea Flower Show around the corner, new afternoon tea menus are popping up like mushrooms at fancy restaurants in luxury hotels in London. The Chinoiserie at the Jumeirah Carlton Tower just announced their delectable and elegant Floral Afternoon Tea menu for the occasion. Needless to say a menu created to celebrate world’s best known flower show feature plenty of horticultural inspired treats. The menu designed by hotel’s Executive Head Pastry Chef Stephan Will, offers sweet and savory items garnished with edible flowers and ingredients.
Jumeirah has not released a media statement with menu details, which means not much specifics to give to you. Brief description of what is offered comprise a brioche bun with roast peppered beef, watercress and grain mustard brioche bun and finger sandwiches on savory side. The delicious sweet desserts menu include a Rosewater and raspberry flower tart as well as other delights. No afternoon tea is complete without scones, clotted cheese and jam – you get plenty of them.
