Bowers & Wilkins, the maker of Rolls Royce of  sound audio systems has announced their newest offering, their first ever over-ear headphones, the Bowers & Wilkins P7. B&W, well known for providing luxury hotels and high-end automakers with audio systems, has put emphasis on the word “Mobile,” in its P7 introduction.

P7 makes user immerse in sound and enjoy music without any interruptions. Big part of this due to advanced noise-cancellation technology B&W mastered over the years with sound studio audio work. P7’s snuggly ear-pads feature a cushion design with dual cavity that shape to the wearer’s head. This in turn keeps flow of volume consistent between both ears. Headphone driver of P7 is similar to that of a hi-fi speaker, thus enhancing its sound quality.

Adding to P7’s “Mobile” credence is the Remote/microphone control it comes with. Though it is mainly for the benefit of the iPhone, detach and switch of cable makes it compatible with other phones and MP3’s.

Look, feel and quality of the P7 can be described as sleek, luxurious and comfortable. Made from high quality brushed stainless steel, brushed aluminum and soft leather, P7 is very comfortable to wear for longer periods of listening. It also features a folding mechanism that folds up like a pair of sunglasses for easy portability and comes with a soft carry case.

To give your ears the ultimate comfort and feed your heart with beautiful music, you have to sell an arm and a leg to buy one of the P7’s at $400 a piece. Then again, you cannot buy a Rolls Royce on the cheap.
