Beats Pill 24k

The Beats Pill from Dr. Dre has seen itself in many avatars thanks to ColorWare. The portable pocket rocket that blasts out your favorite music in stereo sounds has a lavish new version with a 24 karat gold finish – Beats Pill 24k. Last year ColorWare released a safari themed special edition and prior to that few others too. So, ColorWare giving the Bluetooth-enabled speaker another design spin should not come as a surprise to Beats aficionados.

The 18 karat gold version is available in two versions – black and white. Only the front of the speaker gets gold treatment, the back and middle panel retains its original black or white color. Because of this the two versions are named Beats Pill 24k Black and Beats Pill 24k White. ColorWare’s process of making special editions include taking apart the units, making changes and reassembling them. The time consuming work is costly and need talented hands to complete the work. In the end they get delivered in the original packaging.
