Improved engineering performance starts with the weight – a weight reduction of 33 lbs than the V12 Vantage and new AM28 engine. Power is up by 11 per cent to 565 hp, torque at 620 Nm increased by 9 per cent. With these improvements Vantage V12 S goes from 0 to 60 mph in 3.7 seconds flat, quite an improvement from standard V12’s 4.2 seconds and this pushes the top speed to 205 mph from 195 mph. The Vantage V12 S boasts lighter Sportshift III gearbox, designed specifically for it. Seven-speed automated manual gearbox is designed to help effortless gear change at high speeds. Three levels of driver controls are available for the driver, namely Normal, Sports and Track. Track mode allows for delayed anti-lock braking.
