Here is a helicopter that can push Donald Trump’s luxury Sikorsky S-76 into second place. The Bell 525 Relentless now in final stages of its design and development will have its first flight sometime this spring. The cabin of the Bell 525 measures 88 square feet, this is plenty of room to include a lot of luxurious amenities ranging from plush seats to technology to entertainment.
The target market for Bell 525 Relentless is offshore oil industry and its build to withstand tough conditions of the ocean. That doesn’t mean luxury cabin interiors are out of bound for it. Its flexible cabin layouts can accommodate the same luxurious available for private jets. Bell’s VIP package include oversize swivel seating, conference layouts, and a mini galley. Options include Trump-like flashy interiors full of gold as well as more conservative and sophisticated styles.
The Bell 525 Relentless also on track to receive the ARC Horizon flight deck system that features advanced fly-by-wire cockpit, a first for a commercial helicopter. It will have sidekick controls as well as a fully integrated touchscreen Garmin flight deck. Other specifications include standard seating of up to 16 passengers plus two crew, 128 cubic-feet baggage compartment and a 54-inch passenger cabin height. It also has a maximum cruise speed of 178 mph and a 575 miles nonstop range.
