A Special SUV For Billionaire Falconers – Bentley Bentayga Falconry by Mulliner

Bentley has a new Bentayga – the Bentayga Falconry by Mulliner. Designed with kings, billionaires and millionaires of the Middle East in mind, automaker tout this as the ultimate accessory for regions falconry enthusiast. Taking care of its design aspects fell on Mulliner, Bentley’s personal commissioning division, and they have done an exceptional job of it by paying attention to every minuscule detail.

Hand-crafted by Mulliner, the highlight of the Falconry is its bespoke installation in the rear that has room for all the falconry expedition-related equipment. This is an old sport and an expensive sport – just like anything horse-related. The two natural-cork-fabric-trimmed containers with laser-embossed pink Hotspur hide are the most important feature of the Falconry. One is set aside as the master flight station and the other for refreshments. Both units sit on an easily accessible movable tray.

The master flight unit with a saker falcon crest and Piano Black veneered drawer comes with specially designed storage for falconry. It has individual compartments to store GPS bird tracking unit, binoculars, and hand-crafted leather bird hoods and gauntlets. The refreshment case comes with three metal flasks and durable cups, a blanket and refreshing face cloths.

That’s not all, it also comes with two individual perches with their own natural-cork-fabric-trimmed cases for storage. There is a hard pocket built into the side of the boot to slot them in. Two other features – cork made boot-floor and rear-sill protection cover integrated into the rear assists falconers prepare their birds in comfort and shade.

Interiors highlights include a Hotspur-hide-trimmed cabin and a removable transportation perch and tether on the central armrest. There is also an exquisite hand-crafted marquetry showcasing a sweeping dessert scene featuring a soaring saker falcon. Artisans at Mulliner used 430 individual pieces of wood sourced from around the world, and it took them 9 days to craft each set.

Other than the falconry inspired design aspects everything else is same as all Bentaygas. There is no word on pricing, expect Bentayga Falconry by Mulliner to cost a little more than a standard edition – of which pricing starts around $225,000.
