As the saying goes “beauty is in the eye of the beholder”. The one-off Fiat 500 in signature Italian leather and wood will make you want to take sides that you don’t want to. I for one love it – love its “Bossa Nova White” and the different hues of browns. According to reports this is the very first new 500 to roll out of the production line. Designed by Umbrian master craftsmen Stefano Conticelli, the bespoke convertible Fiat 500 was auctioned off to raise funds at “i Defend Gala 2015”, a charity that works to defend basic human rights around the world.
Designed as a tribute to famous Italian riva yachts, the unique Fiat 500 comes powered by a 1.2 liter 69 mph engine. The much talked about exteriors of the car include honey-gold color leather covered wheel arches, rear light clusters and headlights. It also feature chrome plated whiskers and mahogany wood covered mirror domes. Like something out of Downton Abbey, a fine-looking leather picnic basket comes attached to the tailgate. Other highlights include the red roof and light blue interiors.
Unfortunately we don’t know the name of the generous buyer of this cute as a button Fiat500 or the handsome amount he or she shelled out to buy it.
