There is another special edition of the cute little Fiat 500. Last year alone we have seen more than one special edition of the Italian car, yet there are no signs of anyone getting tired of the fashionable little city car. The latest version – Fiat 500 Vintage 57, unveiled during the Geneva Auto Show earlier this month and named “Cinquino” pays tribute to the older versions built between 1957 and 1975.
At first glance you might think you have already seen this car, and you are right. Last year to celebrate 57th anniversary of the 500, they released the 1957 “Nuova” Cinquecento. If you look closely, you notice there are differences between the two models such as rim styles, exterior trims and interior colors. The Fiat 500 Vintage 57 Cinquino will be available in 12 exterior colors, a white roof, mirrors and spoiler, chrome-plated rims and unique 16-inch alloy wheels.
The interior color options include tobacco and Brown Terra de Siena for Poltrona Frau leather seats and door panels, with trappings in white. It also feature Fiat badges on the outside and on the steering wheel.
For the time being Fiat 500 Vintage 57 will be available only in Europe. The car comes with several engine options for thhe European market including the 1.2 liter 69PS, 0.9-liter Twin Air 65PS, 0.9-liter Twin Air 85PS and 0.9 Twin Air 105PS petrol engines. For those with a liking for diesel engines there is the 1.3-liter Multijet 95PS. Fiat is yet to decide on a price range, because they haven’t announced it during the unveiling.
