All you want for Christmas is ….. Give the best Christmas gift of all time. Neiman Marcus just released (and mailed and hand delivered to certain people) their Christmas Book 2013. For just a fraction of a million, $750,000 to be exact if you are the type counting change, is a motorcycle manufactured by late Indian Larry. The winner of the Discovery Channel’s “Biker Build-Off” series, “Wild Child” is considered Larry’s best work in chopper making.
One of a kind bike is powered by a Shovel-Panhead H-D engine and jockey shift. The bike also features Larry’s signature twisted tube frame and root beer metal paint. Handmade leather seat embossed with Larry’s likeness is a creation of Paul Cox. Uncovered old school belt drive is decorated with “Wild Child,” name.
Three years in a row, Larry won the Discovery Channel’s “Biker Build-Off.” In 2003, he rode from St. Louis Missouri to Sturgis, South Dakota for the competition. Larry hand-built the bike in Brooklyn, New York for the competition, and this is truly a unique special limited edition with only 1 unit produced, ever.
If I had money to buy Wild Child, I would take it to California, and ride along the Pacific Coast Highway, with the wind on my back and sun on my face, to the Seals and Croft flower power tune “Summer Breeze.” Oh bummer, I don’t know how to ride a motorcycle!
Fret not if you can’t afford to give these two wheels as a gift, Christmas book has a cheaper, affordable option in four-wheel variety, an Aston Martin Vanquish Volante convertible, only $344,500!
