A 2015 Dodge Viper costs $85,000, that’s a good $15,000 reduction from the previous version. If you don’t have any plans yet as how to spend that $15k Dodge is ready to help you. The automaker in a short online documentary introduced the “1 of 1” Viper GT exclusive personalization program. The customization costs $10,000 and available for GTC model starting February. As additional perks buyers will receive a 1:18 scale model of their car and a bespoke plaque with owner’s name on it.
Customization options run into over 25 million with unique combinations that include 8,000 exterior paint colors, 24,000 stripe combinations, 10 wheel choices, 16 interior options and 6 aerodynamics packages. If you want to customize your car even more, company is more than happy to entertain your concepts – for a cost. Customization by no means limited to exteriors, there are lots of options for interiors too including different leathers and colors for seats.
“Because every Viper is hand crafted with such an extreme level of detail, we have the unique opportunity to make each one even more special by giving buyers the opportunity to customize each vehicle to their exact specifications. Now, Viper owners will be able to say their Viper is truly one of a kind,” said Tim Kuniskis, President and CEO, Dodge and SRT, FCA – North America.
Dodge Viper is a car that is fully handcrafted from beginning to end, and it takes 140 to 160 hours just to hand paint one of these beasts. Dodge made the video to show its faithful how much effort and love (maybe I’m exaggerating a bit, but) put in by workers while building them. You can watch the video here.
