Bentley just unveiled a new luxury SUV – the new flagship model Bentayga Mulliner with features exclusive to Mulliner including a new bottle cooler, unique 22″ wheel design, new veneer concept and a bespoke Mulliner interior color split with contrast embroidery. A limited edition, Bentley plans to showcase a special one-off Bentayga Mulliner during Geneva Motor Show next week, featuring unique marquetry depicting Monte Rosa mountain range.
The new exterior features include the optional Duo-Tone paintwork – a first for the Bentayga range, they plan to make the Duo Tone scheme available across the Bentayga lineup from April. Other exterior highlights include exclusive 22” Paragon wheels with floating wheel centers to keep badge upright, matching body-colored lower bodywork and lower bumper grilles finished in chrome.
The two-tone color split is continued inside, with the front and rear seats finished in different colors of leather that complement the Duo Tone exterior color combination. The two-tone color theme is everywhere including the hand-stitched leather finish with unique Mulliner embroidery and contrast stitching. The interiors are wrapped in a unique two-tone Ombré Burr Walnut Veneer that transition from black to burr and a black Walnut veneer cover the central console fascia. Interiors also feature Mood lighting with six different ‘moods’ and Bentley LED Welcome Lamps.
The powerful Naim audio system of the Mulliner features twenty speakers driven by a 1,950-watt, 21-channel amplifier. There is also a convenient remote-controlled Parking Heater function that allows the interiors to be heated or cooled when the engine is switched off. Mulliner’s accompanying driver assistance suite is loaded with features such as Park Assist, Lane Assist, Adaptive Cruise Control, Traffic Assist, Night Vision and a Head-Up Display.
If you want to spice up things add the Linley Hamper by Mulliner, complete with refrigerator, bespoke fine Linley china cutlery, crockery and crystal glass, and storage area for dry goods. There is also the option to add a bespoke luxury clock – mechanical Mulliner Tourbillon by Breitling in solid gold with a choice of either a mother-of-pearl or black ebony face and decorated with eight diamond indexes.
The Bentayga Mulliner is powered by a 6.0-litre, W12 engine with 600bhp and 663lb. ft. delivering a 0-60 mph time of 4.0seconds (0-100km/h in 4.1seconds). It clocks a top speed of 187mph, which makes Bentayga the world’s fastest SUV, according to Bentley. No word on how much they will retail for, be ready shell out about $250,000.
