Deck the halls with this diamond and ruby studded Christmas wreath from VeryFirstTo.com. Incomparable wreath features 32 diamonds and 16 rubies weighing a total of 138.83 karats. Beautiful fresh cut flowers and leaves of the wreath are imported mainly from florist Flor Unikon’s country house in Finland. The Christmas wreath with 32 diamonds is yours for £2.85 million (approx. $4.6 million.)
The wreath is a creation of Finnish floral designer Pasi Jokinen-Carter. He is a well-known florist, whose past client list includes royal households, company directors and top-name galleries and country clubs. “I am passionate about my craft and this recent invitation to create an exclusive wreath, using natural materials and diamonds, has been an exciting and exceptional project,” Jokinen-Carter said about this once-in-a-lifetime project.
An assortment of sought-after flowers used includes Helleborus flowerheads, deep blue Hedera berries, hand-curled Eucalyptus leaves, Laurus, Lingonberry and Blueberry stems. One of the single Helleborus flower heads holds 22 loose diamonds totaling 2.64 karats. Another flower holds a 3.03 karat Fancy Yellow diamond. But, star of the arrangement is a Vivid Red 17.49 karat ruby.
77Diamonds, the supplier of all diamonds and gemstones for the wreath assures stones are responsibly sourced and independently verified. As one would expect they are delighted to be part of the project. Tobias Kormin, joint owner of 77Diamonds said: “It is exhilarating to participate in curating a selection of gems that would create the most sparkling Christmas anyone could wish for.”
Diamonds are forever, fresh-cut flowers are not. Diamonds and gemstones on flowers are removable. VeryFirstTo estimates flowers to last up to 12 days. If you prefer to use stones after holidays on jewelry, 77Diamonds is offering a complementary, bespoke piece of jewelry to mount them on (for a cost, I assume.)
