Latest Edition Of Hermès Home Collection Unveiled At Milan Design Week

Hermès Home Collection

Mostly known for their horsey-outdoorsy inspired fashion collections, Hermès also has a successful home collection they introduced in 2011. During the Milan Design Week, they revealed the latest additions to the collection, once again inspired by all things horses. The range consists of everything from luxury jewelry boxes, serving trays to hooks, hangers, and tableware. Most of the light maple wood, lacquer, wicker, crystal, and metal made pieces in the Hermès Home Collection feature leather accents.

The collection is designed by architect Alvaro Size, industrial design studio Barber & Osgerby, artist Pierre Charpin, and Hermès’ in-house designers. Heavy-set Aes Coffee Table in cast bronze by Barber & Osgerby for Hermès is an eye-catching piece.

Another striking piece in the collection is the Hermès Studios designed serving trolley in natural maple wood, fawn H Bulcalf leather, natural wicker, and brass. These pieces cost as much as it costs to buy a purebred horse. Regardless of price, check out few of the items from the collection below in the gallery.
