Half-scaled Formula One engine shaped espresso machine with a $15,000 price tag is not everyone’s cup of tea. Perhaps your type is a miniature version of the same espresso machine your favorite coffee shop use, one that is made by La Marzocco. This particular coffee brew machine named the GS3 from the industrial coffee machine maker would cost you $6,900 plus.
Fully customizable GS3 machines are handmade in Florence, Italy. The cutting edge machine has a long list of standard features such as the temperature controls that provide stability shot after shot, a dual stainless steel boilers, hot water economizer for tea making and a pre heating system. Design customization options include tempered side glass panels, maple and walnut accents and cool-touch padding for the steam wand. The GS3 is available in two versions – automatic and mechanical paddle.
The La Marzocco GS3, introduced to the market in 2007 gets its design DNA from the GS series of machines the company produced from 1970-1991. Up until recently the company relied on personal accounts and third party vendors such Seattle Coffee Gear and Clive Coffee to sell it. Plans are now under way to sell GS3 through La Marzocco‘s website soon.
Small foot print makes GS3 the perfect espresso machine for home or light commercial use in offices and catering services.
