Things that come to mind when thinking about marble vary from Taj Mahal to sculptures from Michael Angelo. For more recent creations we would be thinking about marble kitchen tops and floors of multi-million dollar mansions of the rich and famous. For business folks who cannot yet afford mansions here is a way to get in touch with real marble – business cards from San Francisco based design firm Mikol Marmi.
Mikol offers marble business cards in three versions black (Nero Marquina), white (Carrara White) and beige (Light Emperador). They don’t cost much, an order of 20 cards of any color will set you back just $125. As always the case if you order more price will go down markedly, an order of 200 cards costs just $950. Unless you decide to customize, cards will show your name, company name, logo and contact details.
For those who prefer more personalization Mikol offer options such as different colors and designs. You can also luxe them up with diamonds and gold dust. The cards weigh a little more than usual paper-based cards and that is to be expected as real marble is heavier. Each card is a unique creation as no two cards will have the same natural marbling design.
Mikol’s natural marble creations are not limited to business cards. They a line that include iPhone cases, laptop cases, bow ties (yes, them!) tie bars, cufflinks and necklaces. I am pretty sure if you want something completely different that they don’t offer at the moment, they will custom make it for you. To order business cards or other products visit Mikol’s online store.
