For Starbucks loving style bhais and fashionistas, pricey coffee-chain has a collection of two special edition designer mugs. The exclusive double wall ceramic mugs designed and created by Scott Sternberg, founder of Band of Outsiders, gives a new interpretation to classic Starbucks mug. This is Starbucks’ fifth designer mug partnership, previously designers Jonathan Adler, Rodarte, Charlotte Ronson and Stacey Bendet of Alice + Olivia have collaborated with the coffee chain.
Sternberg is a daily Starbucks drinker and a self-described “iced venti redeye, unsweetened kind of guy”. Sternberg’s favorite coffee slang ‘drip’ inspired design features drips of black paint on one and multicolored paint on the other. The 12 oz mugs also has Starbucks logo on the side. In addition to being a fun project, this also offer Band of Outsiders more exposure in the market.
Priced at $14.95, starting today mugs are available online in US and Canada and on June 24th on Starbucks locations around the country.
