New instruments in ivory comprise of fountain, ball point and roller-ball pens. Designed to capture the beauty and elegance she was known for, pens feature a delicate neckline design inspired by the iconic image of Grace Kelly pulling aside a curtain – wearing a timeless and structured black dress. Montblanc has paid great deal of attention to Kelly’s natural beauty in creating the pen.
Made from ivory-colored resin and plated with platinum both the barrel and the cap features rings with rhombus pattern engravings inspired by the coat of arms of the Principality of Monaco. Platinum plated clip is decorated with a .39 karat petal-cut pink topaz and the cone features a mother of pearl cabochon. The ivory edition comes with a nib made from 585 rhodium-plated solid gold nib and the familiar black and white Montblanc logo made from resin.
