Selena Gomez is moving to a bigger home in the posher Calabasas neighborhood. That also means she longer need her starter home in Tarzana. Bought in 2011 for $2.17 million, Gomez has listed the home with an asking price of $3.49 million. She purchased the property soon after her then biggest single “Love you Like a Love Song” arrived in stores.
The single-family home with 6,630 square feet of living space has six bedrooms and eight bathrooms. Master suite come with a sitting room while the lavishly decorated guest suite has its separate entrance, a balcony and its own kitchen. On one side of the house, located nearby are the formal dining room, butler’s pantry and chef’s kitchen. Other side of the house features the beautifully decorated living room with a mantle and a wood-burning fireplace. Interior highlights include French windows and wooden doors, dark paneled hardwood flooring and high ceilings.
Outdoors feature landscaped gardens, a fountain, basketball and tennis courts and a pool with a spa. For outdoor entertainment there is a BBQ and a fire pit in the lounge area. The newly built media room with a bar opens directly to the BBQ area. Other places in the one acre flat land include a fruit orchard, shaded pergola and three kennels. Also on the grounds are the garage, a gym and an extra building for storage.
Selena Gomez has had trouble couple of times from overeager teenage male fans trespassing the property. However, if you are buying a multi-million dollar home and worried about intruders it is better to invest in a good security system.
