Bentley’s successful home collection has now invaded luxury hotels. Once again collaborating with St. Regis Hotels and Resorts, couple of days ago British luxury car maker helped St. Regis unveil their latest creation in Istanbul. The ultra luxury suite at the St. Regis Istanbul consists of a living room, bed room, one and a half baths, a dressing room and a powder room. The curvy design of the suite is inspired the Bentley Continental GT and the entire suite features details borrowed from Bentley’s signature designs. The suite also offer beautiful views of the city and the Macka Park along with the Bosphorus via its expansive balcony.
Mirrored ceilings and a marble floor inset with a Continental wheel inspired design take center stage of the entrance foyer. Another design feature, curved veneer borrowed from the Continental decorate the walls of the living area while highlighting the suite’s corner location. Suite’s floor to ceiling windows and its oversized terrace offer panoramic views of Istanbul’s most iconic sights.
There are plenty of Bentley-centric luxuries and comforts to enjoy in the living room. It features a bespoke built-in sofa crafted from Bentley leather that comes equipped with champagne bottle coolers. Sofa is covered in Bentley’s familiar diamond upholstery with curved lines to match that of the architecture of the suite. The design of the chandelier in the suite takes after Continental’s jeweled headlights. The stylish wet bar takes its form from the wings of a Bentley dashboard. When that bar door is open it reveals three Breitling clocks that allows guests to keep track of time in Istanbul, London and New York, while enjoying their drinks.
To safely lock away guests valuables suite comes fitted with his and hers jewelry boxes. An exquisitely crafted rug in the suite made from wool and silk feature Bentley’s iconic matrix grille pattern. If your stay at the suite is business related, there is an expansive work desk to manage your business affairs. On the other hand leisure is the reason for your stay, a 40-inch pop-up television is there to keep you entertained. The bespoke bed base made from burgundy hide and bright engine spin hosts the oversized St. Regis bed. Placed near the bed with easy access are entry touch panel and an iPad with room controls.
The bespoke bathroom in the form of a glass box offer a one-of-a-kind experience for guests. It features marble book-matched slabs that surrounds a dual-basin sink, glass-enclosed rainforest shower, and freestanding glass-enclosed bathtub. You can even spend time in the bathroom watching your favorite TV shows because they have installed a 19-inch mirror television. Plenty of storage facilities available in the suite including shelves and a makeup vanity.
The suite also boasts a state-of-the-art audio system courtesy of Naim Audio. The British audio company’s high performance units in the suite include the SuperUniti system that offer crystal clear sounds in the living room and the Mu-so wireless system in the bedroom that can be accessed via Bluetooth. Mu-so is inspired by the bespoke system Naim designed for Bentley’s optional in-car audio system.
