On your next visit to Milan, here is a perfect place to stay, the refurbished Four Seasons Milan Royal and Fashion Suites. Recently unveiled, the refurbished Royal and Fashion Suites feature unique and luxurious enhancements such as open balconies with great city views. A collaboration between the hotel and interior designer Pierre-Yves Rochon, the refurbished suites are located in the Hotel’s “Casa Ringhiera” wing.
Hotel’ most prestigious suite title belongs to the Royal Suite that occupies the entire fifth floor. Designed with a private luxury apartment on the mind, the suite according to designer Pierre-Yves Rochon is designed to offer a private sanctum. “We tried to give an intimate residential feeling to the Royal Suite by adding a library and marrying together different styles of furniture like people do in private apartments,” said Rochon.
The tall windows of the Royal suite feature sheer draperies that allow ample light in. Assured of priceless views suite overlooks central Milan and Duomo, while its bedroom balcony allows for more great views. Its rooftop terrace includes a private garden. Befitting a luxury suite, a generous area of the suite is allocated for meetings and relaxation. A sitting room, dressing room, and a balcony are part of the lavish master bedroom. It also features an opulent marble bathroom as well as a guest powder room off the living area.
The Fashion Suite (Suite 444) located on the fourth floor is more contemporary in styling and features a lot of bright Kelly green with black and white accents. In Rochon’s words “When I chose the furniture for the Fashion Suite I wanted to remain in the spirit of the 50s and 60s with pieces by Saarinen with strong lines and an intense green color.”
The Fashion Suite features Fortuny fabrics and Frette linens, hardwood floors and custom-loomed carpets, walk-in closet in the bedroom and large French doors opening to 506 sq ft. private terrace. Its lavish and spacious master bathroom features marble floors, deep soaking tub, heated floors and towel rack, steam-resistant mirrors and complimentary thick terry robes.
