Posh Londoners and wealthy travelers now have a new exclusive club and spa to work on their six-pack abs, get smooth glowing skin and have a relaxing time. Opened earlier this month, the Lanesborough Club & Spa is located in the five-star Lanesborough Hotel in London’s tony Belgravia district. The new facility offers everything from a spa and a fitness facility to a restaurant.
The 18,000-square-foot property designed by Lond0n-based design studio 1508 is open to hotel’s guests as well as club members. Their spa services include a hydrotherapy pool, manicure and pedicure stations, four individual treatment rooms, and a VIP treatment room with double showers. Spa’s specially created luxury supplies come from British label Ila and include natural face serums, body creams, and candles, and La Prairie is developing massage treatments. They have also hired well-known facialist Anastasia Achilleos to manage the facial section. The spa also comes with its own set of butlers ready to take care of your personal needs from making reservations to ordering lunch.
For fitness buffs, there are plenty of modern equipment at the facility they can use to work every muscle. There are weights, boxing equipment, treadmills, bicycles, and rowing machines. Those who like to workout without equipment can attend daily pilates, yoga, and spinning classes. If group exercise is not your thing, they have a team of skillful trainers to work one-on-one sessions, they’ll also help create a personalized workout plan to suit your needs. All this is done is a partnership with wellness company Bodyism.
After you worked up enough appetite for the day, stop by at the restaurant/clubhouse for healthy food and drinks. Their menu includes items such as smoothies, high-protein snacks, and marinated yellow tuna fish. Then there is the pineapple tomato gazpacho with a tartare of green zebra tomato – sound delicious.
Like I said at the beginning Lanesborough Club & Spa is a posh gym located in an exclusive London neighborhood – the $7,540 starting membership fee is a reflection of that exclusivity. Visit their website to get a quick look and request more information.
