Two years after the Great House in Necker Island got burnt down, Richard Branson is ready re-open it to welcome well-heeled visitors.
If you recall, actress Kate Winslet was one of the guests in the house at the time and had to flee. She also helped carry Branson’s mother to safety.
House is remodeled in Balinese style, while retaining most of the original design. Each of the eight guest rooms now feature a balcony, king-size beds and en-suite bathrooms. Main house offers great views of the Caribbean, the Atlantic and nearby islands. The Master Suite located on the upper level with 1,500 square feet also offers panoramic views of the island, two-person Jacuzzi, a kitchenette and an out-door bath.
Other accommodations include six individual Bali houses. A total of 30 adults and 6 children can be accommodated on the property.
If moolah is not an issue, rate $60,000 a night. Great House is available for rent until December 31st, 2013.
