Enliven Your Tony Experience This Year By Being on the Red Carpet Yourself
The annual 72nd Tony Awards is scheduled to be held on the 10th of June 2018 in all its splendor. Presented by the Broadway League and the American Theatre Wing, this year the awards will be hosted by the talented and glamourous Sara Bareilles and Josh Gorban. The show will air live on Sunday 10th of June on CBS.
Two of New York’s finest hotels the Sofitel and Le Club AccorHotels have already arranged for their guests a choice of events and experiences to make the 72nd Tonys their own.
Sofitel New York is the 72nd Tony Awards’ Hotel Partner. In celebration of this grand homage to Broadway, Sofitel New York has planned many Tony-themed events for its guest to allow them to be a part of the Tonys first hand. Some such events and experiences organized by the Sofitel include; a Tony Awards Suite, a $100k Tony Awards package that gives its purchaser access to some of the most coveted Tony Awards events.
The Tony Awards Suite’s deco is completely Tony-themed. Some of the Tony-themed insignia included in the suite are a Tony songbook, Tony award-winning Broadway scripts, photographs of opening numbers from Broadway musicals, Broadway theatre invitations, Broadway performance programs and Broadway posters from years even beyond 1960. These ‘everything Broadway & Tony’ suites will be available for $2,000 per night and will be open for booking from Monday-Friday from 15th May through 212-782-3013 or [email protected].
The purchaser of the Sofitel $100k Tony Awards package will be entitled to seven nights in the whimsical Tony Awards Suite. The seven-night entitlement will span from 4th to 11th June. Kicking this package off are two tickets to the Tony Awards Honors Cocktail on 4th June to be held at the Sofitel New York, two House Seats for three 2018 Tony-nominated performances of the guest’s choosing, two VIP tickets to the Tony Awards on 10th June scheduled at Radio City Music Hall and two tickets to the official Tony Awards Gala and After Party. The element that makes this $100k package most enticing is the inclusion of styling by famous Christian Siriano and hair and makeup by Nomi Beauty for its purchaser for the red carpet. Based on the sales of these $100k packages Sofitel will make a $50,000 donation to the Broadway League & the American Theatre Wing.
Le Club AccorHotels also cater to the Tony and Broadway aficionado by offering what they have dubbed the ‘Elite Tony Awards packages & Experiences’. There are two such packages: The Ultimate Broadway Experience and The 72nd Annual Tony Awards Ceremony & Gala Experience. The Ultimate Broadway Experience offers two tickets to two events: the Tony Awards Honors Cocktail on 4th June at the Sofitel, New York and a performance of Hello Dolly at the Shubert Theatre. The 72nd Annual Tony Awards Ceremony & Gala Experience offers its guest a welcome cocktail, hair, and makeup in preparation of the red carpet and two VIP tickets to the Tony Awards itself at Radio City Music Hall and the Gala event at the Plaza Hotel. Included in this experience is a roundtrip limousine ride that will transport the guest from one event to the other.
