Skeletonized dials and tourbillons are a rare feature in the world of women’s luxury watches. That’s why Bulgari Serpenti Incantati Tourbillon Lumière Skeleton is such a special creation. “Incantati” in Italian means “enchanting”, and this timepiece is full of captivating characteristics. You can’t have a Serpenti piece without the serpent. The pink gold 41mm case is beautifully decorated to resemble a coiled snake with its head and tail going on under the dial. The snake’s body is hand-set with 200 plus white diamonds and a matching rubellite head. Its crown also features white diamonds and a red ruby. Even with all the diamonds, the watch is water resistant to 30 meters.
LVMH-owned Bulgari has effortlessly combined high-jewelry and high-quality watchmaking. Located at the lower part of the dial is the animated 60-second tourbillon. It is powered by a pink gold and brown PVD made mechanical manual-winding Bulgari caliber BVL 28 movement. It also boasts a power reserve of 64 hours. The functions of the Serpenti Incantati Tourbillon Lumière include hours, minutes, tourbillon and power reserve indicator. The dial features a horseshoe shaped hour and minute disc, white hour and minute markers, black hour and minute hands as well as hand decorated bridges and components.
Completing the timepiece is a beautiful brown alligator leather strap with a pink folding clasp set with 28 brilliant-cut diamonds. There are two versions of the Bulgari Serpenti Incantati Tourbillon Lumière Skeleton available. One with a rubellite head and the other an entirely white diamond studded snake.
