From Hermès’ Baselworld timepiece collection we have already seen the Hermès Dressage L’heure Masquée, a unique single hand (only seems that way) timepiece that resembles old pocket watches. Here is another one of their beautiful watches, this one made especially for ladies named Arceau Millefiori, means “a thousand flowers” in Italian. Accompanying Millefiori is an amazing feminine pocket watch.
The watch features a beautiful hand-made crystal dial created by the Hermès subsidiary, Cristalleries Royales de Saint-Louis. Inspired by the nineteenth-century beautiful paperweights seen in Saint-Louis, crystal canes produced by Cristalleries Royales are cut into small ten-millimeter pieces and placed in a cast iron bowl to form a bed of flowers. But it is only after the final cutting stage crystal canes reveal their flowerbed patterns and if they can be used in the wristwatch.
The Arceau Millefiori is available in a white gold case in two sizes 34 mm in raspberry pink dial and a 41 mm in indigo blue dial. The bezel comes encrusted with 60 white diamonds and its crown is set with a single diamond as well. The 41 mm watch is powered by the H1837 manual-movement while 34 mm is powered by the H1912 movement.
Giving the Arceau Millefiori a perfect finish, it is fitted with an alligator strap – raspberry pink or indigo blue. They have not released pricing information at the time of unveiling.
