Hublot Oceanographic 4000 Cheval Blanc Randheli Special Edition 1

Available exclusively at Cheval Blanc’s Randheli Island resort in Maldives, the Hublot Oceanographic 4000 Cheval Blanc Randheli Special Edition is made with the serious diver on mind. After an 18 month research and development period came to fruition the Hublot Oceanographic 4000 that can withstand extreme pressure and water resistant up to 4,000m.

The 48mm watch housed in a titanium case features a dial with luminescent indexes in “Cheval Blanc Randheli” yellow, and a white rubber strap. Though labeled a diver’s watch, it is perfectly ok for you to wear it while sunning in Randheli beach in Maldives.

To get the “montre de plongée” (diver’s watch) ratings from the International Standards of Swiss Watchmaking (NIHS), the watch has gone through various tests to prove its pressure resistance. This included testing the watch submerged and pressurized in a Roxer Tank equivalent to 5,000m of water. The watch also features a 6.5mm thick synthetic sapphire crystal, screwed down grade 2 titanium case back, as well as screwed down crowns.

The SuperLuminova treated dial is legible from a distance of 25 cm in the dark. This too is a requirement to receive the diver’s watch rating. Other features includes the date aperture at 3 o’clock, an oversized crown guard and a second crown to set date and time.

There’s no word on pricing though.
