Jaeger-LeCoultre - Master Grand Tourbillon Enamel 1

Jaeger-LeCoultre, to celebrate their 180 years of watchmaking has introduced the Master Grand Tourbillon Enamel in limited edition. Pioneers in making complicated timepieces, watchmaker has mastered the art of making a watch that is a perfect piece of art as well. The Master Grand Tourbillon Enamel is the result of merging these two aspects in watchmaking together.

Cranes, the mythological symbol of longevity, are hand-painted on champlevé enameled and guilloched dial, while some of surrounding bamboos are hand-painted on crystal sapphire glass. The decorated glass complements the enameled dial, which in turn adds the unique depth and intensity, and the three-dimensional look seen on the watch. Using crystal sapphire painted glass is a first for Jaeger-LeCoultre.

The Master Grand Tourbillon Enamel carries a power reserve of 48 hours thru its hand crafted Swiss automatic Jaeger-LeCoultre in-house produced caliber 978 movement with 33 jewels. Housed in an 18 karat white gold case that measures 43 mm diameter features 94 diamonds, weighing 8 karats each and engraving on the sides. Award winning 22 karat gold rotor is housed in an energy efficient titanium alloy tourbillon carriage. The display back also of crystal sapphire and the watch is water resistant to 50 meters. The strap is black alligator with a white gold, diamond set buckle.  The Master Grand Tourbillon Enamel is available in an extremely limited number of 8 pieces.
