Armand de Brignac plan to unleash a Greek mythology giant proportion sparkling wine bottle this Friday the 13th in Sin City. The 4 feet tall 30-liter Rosé “Midas” bottle in simple terms, equivalent to 40 regular-sized 750ml bottles and weighs 100 lbs (45kg). This gargantuan bottle is world’s largest ever Rosé Champagne ever.
The first popping will take place at Hakkasan Night Club located at the MGM Grand Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. A very limited number of bottles will be available, according to Yvonne Lardner, Global Director of Brand Communications for the champagne maker. Company follows strict procedures to maintain quality and uniqueness of its Rosé Midas – only hand harvested grapes from villages in Champagne region are used and champagne making process is done manually. This only allows for a limited production.
The large Rosé “Midas” bottle comes with a tall price tag of $275,000 per bubbly.
