Charles Heidsieck Celebrates Thierry Roset’s 25 Years With Blanc des Millénaires 1985

Charles Heidsieck Harrods Blanc des Millenaires

Thierry Roset has been in charge of Charles Heidsieck’s wine cellars for 25 years. To mark the occasion the Champagne house has teamed-up with Harrods to re-release a limited number of one of its best and extremely rare, the Blanc des Millénaires 1985. A perfect gift for Champagne connoisseurs and collectors, the Blanc des Millénaires 1985 is offered in individually-numbered gift boxes and special packaging.

According to Harrods, this is a blend of five of the most renowned Chardonnay crus from the Côtes des Blancs region. The wine has been rested in the house’s two thousand-year-old Roman chalk cellars for almost thirty years. Its aromas come from fig, tobacco and a combined hint of truffle and honey. The structure, finesse and intensity of this special edition allows it to further develop, mature and get better with time.

Priced at £395 (about $670) it is sold exclusively at The Wine & Spirits Room on Harrods’ Lower Ground Floor.
