All one has to do is find $2 million to have a chance to take home a pair of diamond studded chopsticks worth $17,000 each. If you can do that, then you are in business to be a candidate to revel in “the world’s most expensive dinning experience” at Singapore’s Ce La Vi restaurant located at the iconic Marina Bay Sands. The rooftop nightclub and restaurant has teamed up with Russian diamond mining company World of Diamonds for this extraordinary 18-course meal where no expense is spared.
The lavish dinner for two starts with Ce La Vi and World of Diamonds choosing a lucky couple among many who are willing to spend $2 million for a night out. Once that get sorted out, the dinner evening will start with a 45-minute helicopter ride over scenic Singapore. Next on line is a chauffeured Rolls-Royce ride to the marina to begin a private luxury cruise. The $2 million price tag also include 10,000 fresh roses and petals, with which Ce La Vi plan to blanket their private dining area. For the special night the restaurant will have no other guests, so you are assured of a money well spent evening in town.
Now for the fancy diamond studded chopsticks. This is a special gift given for guests for spending so much dough on a unique dining experience. There will be two pairs of $17,000 gold plated, 4-karat diamond encrusted chopsticks with guests names engraved. To use them with care and to avoid scrapes guests will also receive leather hand gloves. That’s not all – an exquisite 2.08-karat Fancy Vivid Blue diamond ring named after actress Jane Seymour is part of the deal too.
A lavish scrumptious spread complete with rare and vintage wines, and deserts are on offer for the privileged pair. Menu include caviar, langoustine, wild salmon and oysters with Champagne foam. Some wines are said to be at least 55 years old. To end the evening guests will be treated to grand fireworks. No word on cigars for the gentleman.
