All three Jumeirah Hotels & Resorts London properties are offering mouthwatering and eye catching festive feasts. Those of you heading to Jumeirah Carlton Tower can indulge in Festive Afternoon Tea at their relaxing Chinoiserie Lounge from 20 November to 31 December with live seasonal music from the hotel’s resident harpist. But the important thing to look forward to here is the seasonal afternoon tea menu with beautifully crafted sweets and savories.
The Festive Afternoon Tea served daily from 3pm to 6pm features savories such as – Brioche bun with roast Norfolk turkey, sage and chestnut stuffing and cranberry sauce; Bridge roll with Loch Fyne smoked salmon and duck egg mayonnaise and Brie, baby spinach and Christmas chutney on wholemeal bread.
Sweets have an interesting take here. Holiday specials include Santa Claus is Coming to Town – a white chocolate and cinnamon Santa hat; Frosty the Snowman – coconut financier and meringue snowman; Glitter and Gold – a glazed mandarin tart with blood orange curd. Afternoon tea staple, sconces – both plain and fruit are served with a selection of preserves and clotted cream.
To wash all these fancy treats down they offer a selection of premium black, white, green, fruit and herbal teas. Price – £45 per person. With a glass of Champagne price goes up to £55 per person. For reservations visit Jumeirah Carlton Tower.
