These too good to be real handcrafted chocolate shoes in the collection named “Gentleman’s Radiance” are so detailed you can spot the shoe laces, stitches, and soles from afar. Expertly crafted chocolate shoes are not some small things, they are life-sized and measure full 26 centimeters or about 10.2 inches in length. Creator of this beautiful artwork at L’éclat is specialist chocolatier Motohiro Okai. Even for an experienced artisan like him, it takes lots of time and effort to create something as top quality as this.

You can show up in person in Osaka right now for a pair, unfortunately, the stunning collection is not available to buy immediately. There is a short window of time to place an order – from 20 January to 7 February. This is a Valentine’s Day special and they promise to deliver orders between 7-14 February, just in time for celebrations.

Handcrafted special chocolates have a price, in the case of Gentleman’s Radiance collection – each pair retailing for ¥29,160 (about $260). They cost the same like a pair of real leather shoes, no doubt. If you think you are priced out with this fancy chocolate (almost all of us are!), L’éclat offer a range of other handcrafted to choose from. This is strictly a limited edition, only nine pairs will be made.
