Champagne section includes a 2006 Louis Roederer, Cristal Brut Millesime, Magnum. Cognac aficionados will be happy to know one of the trunks will bring a bottle of spicy, honey, buttery Réviseur Extra “Origin”.

Teas and coffees (not my favorite Decadence segment, but…), a collection of finest teas and coffees picked from around the world. Notables are orange-flavored Bari Gold Golden-Tipped Black Darjeeling Tea and the world’s priciest Ross Kopi Wild Luwak Coffee.

Fresh food section, one of my favorites, let’s see what’s inside. You hamper will have a couple of caviar tins – Beluga and Oscietra, a collection of cheeses including sweet wine-soaked Blu and Tete de Moine. There is also the familiar Iberico ham, Joselito chorizo, and lomo and smoked chicken breast.

Pantry and confectionery sections bring you everything you need for a good old toothache before, during and after Christmas. There are, the all-important 5kg decorative Christmas cake and a Chocolate Christmas tree, then an endless list of pudding, biscuits, chocolates, jam, and marmalade. Those who love cooking and seasoning can look forward to olive oils, honey, water crackers and things like that.

Festivities starts with the amazing Harrods Decadence arriving at your doorstep, but to take things a bit further, every year department store includes a bunch of party accessories and this year is no difference. This year you’ll get a box of twelve Christmas crackers, Monaco cheese curler and a Coravin Model Two wine system that helps safeguard wine from oxidation.
