Lalique Crystal Macarons

This unique offer comes from St. Regis Bal Harbour Resort in Florida and French glassmaker and jeweler Lalique. Priced $9,703, the Crystal Macarons are served in a beautiful Lalique Dahlia-shaped crystal box. Each box consists of three white tea made, gold leaf decorated macarons resting on a bed of sugar. crystals. The unusual price tag pays tribute to the resort’s 9703 Collins Avenue address.

Befitting the hefty price tag, macarons are served with little more than fancy sugar crystals. The deal comes with an overnight stay at one of St. Regis Bal Harbour’s newly opened four-bedroom Sky Palace Suites. The Crystal Macarons are served on one of the suite’s four ocean front balconies along with Afternoon Tea.

The Lalique-St. Regis Bal Harbour partnership also offers a specially designed cocktail program that includes three signature cocktails. Lalique’s contribution arrives via beautiful glassware they created for the occasion. Each cocktail costs $200, whopping price tag includes glassware. First of the three cocktails is the Muse – the inspiration for this comes from the Sirènes Collection by Terry Rodgers and made with Hayman’s 1850 Reserve Gin, fresh lemon, chamomile-infused honey syrup, and raspberry. Second on the list is the Eternal – Damien Hirst’s Butterfly Series inspired cocktail is made with Hendrix Gin, Elderflower liqueur, grapefruit bitters and freshly squeezed grapefruit juice. The third drink is the Sensory Awareness, inspired by Mario Botta’s GEO Collection, and its recipe includes Hennessy VSOP, Busnel Calvados, Averna Amaro, a sweet hibiscus reduction tea and angostura bitters. If you are a regular at St. Regis Bal Harbour, Lalique offers to engrave your name on the glass for free.

The third and final piece of this collaboration is a special art exhibition. Over the years Lalique has worked with a host of world’s leading contemporary artists, foundations, and designers to create unique special editions. Some these work will be on display at resort’s private Wine Vault room. For an exclusive dining experience among crystal art, resort’s culinary team has developed special menus for a private tasting and intimate dinners. A sommelier and Executive Chef Franck Steigerwald will be on hand during these dinners.
