3 Jose Cuervo Cocktails Straight From New York Fashion Week

Jose Cuervo

New York Fashion Week come and gone. That doesn’t mean we have to stop with fashion week signature cocktails created by Jose Cuervo (Paris Fashion Week still going). Over the weekend we tried to create a couple of Cuervo cocktails on our own, that didn’t go well for the simple reason we are not mixologist with any experience. Next time, it is going to be the tried and tested method – ask the experts to make them for us. However, if you are one with a green cocktail thumb here are few recipes to make them yourself. And make sure to let us know how it went. All frock and roll here – designed for Fashion Week, inspired by Rolling Stones.

The Dead Flower

Jose Cuervo The Dead Flower Honestly, this cocktail had nothing to do with the fashion week, it is on this list because I like it. This is another song the Stones played only in Texas, “Dead Flowers” from their Sticky Fingers album, was a song written while the Stones were dipping their toes into country music.

.5 shot Cuervo Especial Silver
.75 shot St. Germain elderflower liqueur
1 shot Ruby grapefruit juice
Top up with Brut champagne

Shake first three ingredients together with ice. Strain into a chilled glass. Top with champagne and a grapefruit zest twist.
