These are happy times for singer-songwriter Pharrell Williams. The American in Paris for a four-night concert tour has teamed up with French brands macaroon-maker Ladurée and concept store Colette to release a limited edition macaroons in two quintessential American flavors – peanut butter and cola. Sold exclusively at Colette, macaroons created by “Happy” singer are available just for a week. Pharrell ends his four-concert “Dear Girl Tour” on October 16 at the Zenith Arena in Paris.
This is hardly Pharrell’s first collaboration with high-end French brands. He already worked with luxury luggage maker Moynat for a train-themed collection of four bags. His other recent partnerships include a second Adidas sneaker collection, G I R L fragrance, UNIQLO and a capsule collection for Billionaire Boys Club label. No wonder he is happy.
Ladurée made high-end Pharrell macaroons come in a box of six with a €17 price sticker. To celebrate the tour and Pharrell, Collette has named this week the “Pharrell Week”.
